Rick Falkvinge of the Swedish Pirate Party wrote a good article explaining why the current so-called “child porn” laws are completely flawed (Falkvinge recommends the use of the term “child abuse imagery” to frame the issue accurately).
In Bits Are Not A Bug, Aaron Swartz (who committed suicide last month, which you guys covered in your show) also talked about the absurdity of the current laws regarding “child pornography”:
And here’s part of an RT show, in which Jacob Appelbaum (a tor developer) calls the argument for removing child porn images from the internet “bullshit” (2-minute video segment), a must-watch for anyone who thinks about this issue, whether you agree or not.
